Two additional Kamloops businesses have been nominated for Small Business B.C. awards.

Rainbow’s Roost and Tradeopolis Communications have been nominated in the categories of Best Workplace and Best Company respectively.

They join Hummingbird Drones (Premier’s People’s Choice) and Recruit Right Staffing Solutions  (Best Concept and Premier’s People’s Choice), local firms that were nominated earlier in November.

Rainbow’s Roost is an events facility on the shore of the North Thompson River off Westsyde Road. Tradeopolis Communications is a website design firm specializing in e-commerce.

“We’re absolutely thrilled about it,” said Branden Moskwa, founder and partner. “It will be exciting to see what happens. I think there are some pretty solid companies nominated, so we’re in good company, for sure.”

The company, which has been in steady operation for three years, was a finalist in the 2015 Kamloops Chamber Business Awards and was nominated two years ago for a guardian.com small business award.

The business only have five more days to collect votes. Supporters are encouraged to RT the most recent Tweet to help them: https://twitter.com/SmallBusinessBC/status/669588789912711169.
