Software developer turns to fiction writing

June 15, 2016 5:00 P.M.

Sunshine Coast author Mark Cameron is bringing his inaugural B.C. book tour, 30 Days of Sunshine, to three different TNRD Library System branches next week.

Cameron gave up his life as a software developer to live a simpler, more authentic life. This new life has the author loading up the family camper van for a road tour to promote his debut novel, Goodnight Sunshine. The book features Oliver Bruce, a disenchanted family man sleepwalking through life on a quiet island near Seattle when he finds himself inexplicably alive after a multiple vehicle accident.

The author speaks at Merritt Library on Tuesday, June 21, at 6 p.m.; Kamloops Library, Wednesday, June 22, at 7 p.m.; and Cache Creek Library, Thursday, June 23, at 5 p.m.

The events are free but seating is limited. Registration is recommended at your local library or questions@tnrd.ca.
