Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive in Victoria Saturday, Sept. 24, for an official welcome and the start of a one-week tour of B.C. and the North.
Premier Christy Clark announced the Royal couple’s itinerary Monday morning, Sept. 12.
“This tour presents a unique opportunity for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to learn more about our province’s diverse urban, rural and remote wilderness regions,” Clark said.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be along for the tour, Sept. 24-Oct. 1.
“The Duke and Duchess will also be meeting British Columbians making positive changes such as conserving the Great Bear Rainforest, innovating approaches to addressing mental illness, and welcoming new Canadians.
“I know all British Columbians will extend a warm welcome to their Royal Highnesses as we share the very best of our province.”
