RCMP hope for clues in murder case

KELOWNA — RCMP hold a news conference Friday morning marking 10 years of probing an unsolved West Kelowna murder case.

The news conference will centre around the Sept. 10, 2006, slaying of 32-year-old Adam Fettes.

Fettes' body was discovered early that afternoon in his rental basement suite on Stuart Road in Lakeview Heights. He died of blunt force trauma to the head.

Fettes was known to be involved in the drug trade at the time of his death. He had an extensive criminal record involving theft, drugs and weapons.

Police continue to work the case.
