Kamloops RCMP are investigating a theft of an ATM from B.C. Wildlife Park.
On Sunday, Sept. 18, at 6:30 a.m., police were notified of an alarm at the park off the East Trans-Canada Highway.
When officers arrived they found that the front lobby window was smashed open and the ATM machine was gone.
Surveillance video showed a black SUV-type vehicle drove up to the lobby window. Two men got wearing facial coverings out of the vehicle and broke the window. They entered the lobby, grabbed the ATM machine, loaded it into their vehicle and drove away.
No description of the suspects was possible, partly due to poor lighting.
Anyone with knowledge of the theft or suspects is asked to contact police at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
