Kelowna police hunt for gunman

RCMP are looking for a man who used a handgun to rob a Kelowna deli.

Police say they were called to the Hollywood Deli on Hollywood Road South shortly after 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4.

A man entered the store, produced a gun and demanded money.

He fled the scene in a Ford pickup with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 5-foot-11
  • With a goatee
  • Wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, a blue baseball cap and black running shoes
  • Full sleeve tattoo on his left arm

The vehicle has been described as a silver two-wheel drive late 1980s model pickup truck, possibly a Ford F150.
