A business in Armstrong specializing in handmade guitars has been seriously damaged by fire.
The Armstrong/Spallumcheen fire department was called to the scene on Patterson Avenue at 8:20 p.m. Thursday night where a 600 sq. ft. workshop was alight, said deputy fire chief Alastair Crick.
"The building was full of smoke which broke out into flame when the fire department arrived," Crick said.
"The business has received heavy damage to equipment and tools," Crick said, adding that the 1950s structure itself is "not too bad."
Crick said the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
