A man was shot with a flare gun Monday night after a dispute turned violent.
The fight happened at about 9 p.m. inside a home at a trailer park along Hwy. 97 on the border of Kelowna and Lake Country.
Kelowna RCMP say it escalated to the point where one man shot another "once with a signal flare projectile and a second time with an unknown object."
"The victim, a man in his 30s, was treated for non-life threatening injuries by emergency health services and released at the scene," said Const. Jesse O'Donaghey.
"The victim, along with several other witnesses at the scene were not forthcoming with investigators. RCMP believe this to be an isolated incident and that the public is not at any risk."
