Another man has died in the street in Kamloops Thursday night, though police can’t say whether a drug overdose is to blame.
Kamloops RCMP said Thursday that they do not consider the death of the man, 50, to be suspicious. A second man, a 40-year-old who was with the victim, was taken to RIH due to health issues that were not specified.
B.C. Coroners Service is investigating the sudden death and will be able to determine whether drugs were involved.
Police responded to a call of a man in medical distress around 5:30 p.m. on 7th Avenue in the area of Peterson Creek. They could not resuscitate the victim.
