Construction worker threatened over wallet

A man who threatened a construction worker with a knife while demanding his wallet is the subject of a police investigation.

Around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, the man approached a lone construction workers on the job at a new home in Campbell Creek. He had a knife with a three- to four-inch blade and told the worker to hand over his wallet. When the worker said the wallet was in his vehicle, the man ran away.

The suspect is described as medium build, approximately five feet, five inches tall, with blond hair and a scruffy beard. He was wearing a black ball cap, black shirt and jeans. In general, he appeared to be very dirty.
