June 7, 1944 - September 18, 2016
On Sunday, Sept. 18 at 4:30 p.m. our beloved grandfather, father, brother and uncle left this world. He was 72 years of age.
He was predeceased by his mother Annie Alexis, his father Raymond Peters, sister Lila Rose Peters and brothers George Peters, Patrick Henry Peters, Peter Peters, J.P. Peters, Cordell Peters and Gary Casimir.
He leaves behind three children Steven Little Cloud, Patrick Peters and Annie Rose Peters, plus numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Cloudy was a welder and carpenter by trade, but an artist at heart; he did many carvings and paintings for his family.
In his younger years he lived in the logging camp at Saddle Mountain and Schiedam Flats where he did a lot of horseback riding. As he grew older he moved to the main reserve and began riding a Harley and traveled throughout Canada, the United States and Mexico.
His claim to fame was meeting Elvis Presley at the Seattle World Fair and shaking his hand.
The wake is being held at his home, 1214 Dakota Road starting at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Burial will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. at TK’Pen-Pen Cemetery. A feast will follow at Moccasin Square Garden.
