Fourteen of Kamloops’ best homes are being showcased in a new event by the Canadian Home Builders Association Central Interior (CHBA CI) called the Parade of Homes on Saturday, May 7.
“We understand looking for a home can be a challenge, but this is a fun way for the people of Kamloops to get a sense of what’s out there,” said Matt McCurrach, CHBA CI president. “Each home will be unique in style featuring latest in trends and workmanship.”
Parade of Homes will offer new homebuyers, and those thinking of building or remodelling, an opportunity to get exposed to different homes and ask questions. Local professional builders, land developers and product suppliers will be on hand to provide answers regarding new products, technologies and designs.
Parade attendees are eligible to win a barbecue donated by Rona Home Centre if they visit at least five homes and get the qualifying stamps.
All new homes built by CHBA CI members are eligible, including new single-family and multi-family homes. All homes must be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A map of the parade is available at the CHBA CI website: www.chbaci.ca
“We would like to invite the public to tour the homes,” said McCurrach. “A new home is a sound investment and there is no better time to buy a new home than today.”
The event is co-sponsored by the Homeowner Protection Office and Radio NL.
