Getting down to the business of electing boards, Kamloops Chamber of Commerce and local business improvement associations have their AGMs lined up over the next three weeks.
First in line is North Shore Business Improvement Association with its annual general meeting Wednesday, Feb. 28, 6-7 p.m. at North Shore Community Centre, 452 — 730 Cottonwood Ave. The association will provide a review of 2015 and an outlook on the future with a presentation afterward by City staff on capital projects.

Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association holds its AGM Thursday, March 3, 5-8 p.m. at Hotel 540. Safety is on the agenda with downtown panel including representatives of the RCMP and City bylaws as wells as from the graffiti task force and ASK Wellness. A Downtown Leadership Award will also be presented.
In order to vote, businesses must be paid-up members of the Biz Club. Eligible businesses can sign up at www.kcbia.com.
Finally, Kamloops chamber, which this year celebrates its 120th anniversary, holds its AGM Saturday, March 17, at South Thompson Inn and Guest Ranch. The meeting includes an economic showcase and dinner. A policy session runs from 3-5 p.m. and the AGM goes from 5-9 p.m. Mayor Peter Milobar will give the keynote address.
