May 6, 2016 8:53 P.M.

TRU WolfPack baseball team holds a .500 record (12-12) going into four big games in Kelowna on the last weekend of their regular season.

On Saturday, the ’Pack take on the Okanagan College Coyotes at noon and the Vancouver Island Baseball Institute Mariners at 3pm. On Sunday, they will play the Mariners at 1pm and the Coyotes at 4 p.m.

“Our goal for this weekend is to get four wins. If we are able to do that, we will be able to not only lock up second place, but also gain some momentum going into championships the following weekend,” said second baseman/centre fielder Tony Tabor.

WolfPack are looking for a strong finish to the season and climb to over .500 for the first time in a couple weeks. The team wants to keep their momentum from last weekend, continue it this weekend and bring it into playoffs the following weekend. Playoffs start on May 12.
